Around ten years ago we moved into a little flat in Nottingham, and not long after that Archie photographed his first wedding for a friend. They liked the results enough to double his £200 fee, and we’ve been capturing events ever since.

We count ourselves endlessly fortunate that people like us (and our work) enough that they invite us to celebrations all across the globe.

They really are a dream team!

It’s not easy to sum up a whole relationship in a couple of paragraphs, so instead, here’s a little flavour:

Outside of work, we’re happiest exploring new places, hanging out with our two lurchers whenever we can, and filling our time with the things we love.

Archie climbs regularly, and has found a fondness for padel, though his real sporting love is Eton Fives. He’s also endlessly devoted to pizza, neopolitan is king of course! He first learnt to use a camera on bouldering trips to Fontainebleau long before we met, and over the years it’s grown into a passion that we now share.

Abigail loves a bit of Salsa (dancing mainly, but also good on nachos) and will choose tapas every time. She's planned a wedding or two through her own business Rather Be, so you know you're in good hands. We both adore a good cocktail, a tasting menu, and a West End show when we're in town.

We met while studying chemistry at the University of Bath before moving into science roles – Abigail in pharmaceuticals and Archie in a school. We shot a couple of weddings, quit our jobs, Archie proposed on top of Half Dome, and we eventually married in Tenerife on our tenth anniversary.

And we really do love to travel (I'm literally designing this website while sat on a sunbed in Gambia) - top of our destination list is Japan - so special deals for anyone that takes us to Asia (wink)!
