Beth and Callum tied the knot at Sudeley Castle’s on-site chapel before heading out into the grounds for a reception outside the castle, with their young baby right there with them for the whole day.

Having everything in one place made the timeline really smooth. Guests arrived straight into the castle setting, and there was no gap where people vanish between venues. It also meant we could move through the day without rushing – from the ceremony, to drinks outside, to portraits – all within a short walk of each other.

The chapel at Sudeley is a beautiful place to get married. It has that classic, historic feel, but it’s not overwhelming – it suits smaller, more intimate ceremonies really well. After the ceremony, Beth and Callum walked out of the chapel and straight into confetti. Guests lined the path and properly went for it – We love confetti walks – they’re a quick, high-energy moment that gets everyone smiling and sets the tone for the reception.

From there, everyone moved into drinks and celebrations in the grounds outside the castle. Sudeley works brilliantly for this because the setting is just beautiful – old stonework, manicured gardens, historic backdrops all around. Guests can spread out, talk, and enjoy being outside, while the day still feels like it has structure and momentum.

We kept portraits simple and slotted them in around what was already happening. The grounds give you a lot of variety without needing to go far – clean backdrops, texture from the stonework, and open space that feels grand without being fussy. Later on, as the sun started to drop, we headed out for a short set of sunset photos. The light at Sudeley at that time of day is hard to beat, and it’s an easy win if you can spare ten minutes.

Then it was back inside for the first dance, followed by party scenes in the evening space. Once everyone had a drink in hand and the music started, the energy ramped up – a packed dancefloor, inflatables everywhere, madness!
